17th Sunday in Ordinary Time

by Fr. Jess Ty  |  07/27/2025  |  Weekly Reflection

Dear Family of God,

We have asked for religious Sisters to work in our Parish. Since we asked with faith, we will receive soon two sisters of the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary. Seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open for you. That’s the message of our Lord to all of us this weekend.

July 24, 2025 was the 100th Anniversary of the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary of the Philippines, whose three sisters are working at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Phoenix. Sister Maria Otelia Fortaleza, O.P. and Sister Maria Cleofe Trance, O.P. will be coming to our Parish on August 12th. The charism of their Order is Education and Evangelization, so one of them will be the Coordinator of Evangelization/Family Ministry and the other will be the Coordinator of Evangelization/Pastoral Works.

Let us never tire in asking for God’s mercy for He is always ready to give us the Holy Spirit when we ask for Him.

May Our Lady of Joy continue to intercede for us for all the we need.

Yours in Christ through Mary Immaculate.
