Our Military Veterans Ministry is sponsoring a free Veterans Coffee Gathering at 0900 on Fri, Apr 19 in the Parish Hall.
The speaker will be Joe Trotter, LCDR, USN (ret.). Joe served in the US Navy for 24 years, working his way up from a seaman to LCDR. He was in the nuclear submarine force for 22 years, serving on two nuclear ballistic missile submarines and ending his career as the director of the Naval Reactors Vendor Quality Assurance Office. Joe will speak about his experience in the nuclear submarine force including both serious and humorous stories.
Stop by, meet some great vets and enjoy coffee snacks. Registration is not required and feel free to bring vet and non-vet guests. If you can join us after the meeting, we will be bagging 100 hygiene kits for homeless veterans.
