Preschool Information -Classroom B

PreK is our classroom for our children 4 years old by September 1st. Prek students meet Monday-Friday from 9:00am-2:00pm. In this classroom we foster emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development in each child. We use a variety of curriculum in order to allow each child to reach their academic potential. Through Handwriting without Tears children learn the proper way to form letters without frustration. We use Harcourt Treasures for our Language Arts curriculum. Through a variety of other resources our children are given many opportunities for learning.

10:00 - 10:20 Outdoor Play
10:25 - 10:45 Calendar & Math
10:45 - 11:15 HWT/Religion/Arts & Crafts
11:15- 11:30 Table Centers/ Free Choice Centers
11:35- 12:00 Wash Up & Lunch
12:05 - 12:15 Outdoor Play
12:20- 12:45 Rest Time
12:50-1:20 Religion/Social Studies/Science
1:25- 1:40 Free Choice Centers
1:45-2:00 End of Day Circle

In cooler weather we will switch the morning outdoor play to afternoon after Religion/social Studies/Centers. Extreme Weather will keep us in from Outdoor Play or limit time.
