Our Parish Library offers access to over 1,500 titles about our Catholic religion and the day-to-day living of the Catholic faith. It includes books, videotapes, audiotapes and CDs. Topics include prayer, sacraments, lives of the saints, theology, ministry, adult development, marriage and family, aging, loss, grief, care-giving, biographies, and more. Volunteer duties consist of preparing and processing the library material. We staff the library after each Mass on Sunday morning and assist parishioners in locating and checking out items. The adult lending library is located in the Parish Office building. Hours are posted in the bulletin.
We also welcome and register new parishioners after the Sunday Masses.
Preserving the history of Our Lady of Joy is very important to us. We collect and organize the records of parish activities, including photos, news clippings, newsletters, etc.
