The Children & Teen Stewardship Committee assists the
younger members of the parish community in developing
an understanding of the use of their time, talent, and
treasure. The committee assists catechists with curriculum
development and provides ongoing support with
stewardship related activities. The committee includes
children & teens in all of the stewardship efforts within our
parish throughout the year. Its focus is to help our children
and teens develop a commitment to live a life of
stewardship.
“Sharing Christmas with a Child” is a stewardship project
that the children and teens from our parish have been
participating in since 2002. This program demonstrates
God’s love through gift-filled shoe boxes. These shoe boxes
are given to St. Margaret’s Parish RE classes and St.
Matthews School grades K-8. The project begins in
November.
